Today is one of those days.
Not the ones where my children are swinging off chandeliers or wee'ing down the slippery dip. Don't laugh, I busted Oscar doing the latter the other week!
No, one of those days where I just feel exhausted.
Everything irks me. Especially poor Oscar, with his penchant for whining "Muuuuum" at me every few minutes.
Ugh.
The world seems darker today and my mood, black.
My mind feels blank and nothing seems important.
I crave quiet.
I crave my own company.
I crave sleep.
And as every single Mama under the sun knows, none of the above is going to happen until 7:30pm!
So, go with the flow I must. One foot in front of the other until bedtime.
