I skipped last week's instalment of happies.
I know you totally noticed. What? You didn't? Shoosh!
In my defence, I am lazy forgetful was swamped out by someone turning 5 and the assorted fuffing about that comes with birthdays!
- Watching everyone we love come together to celebrate Amelia's fifth birthday on Saturday. We had a princess party at the local botanic gardens and after days of pounding rain, the weather turned on a gorgeous spring day for us!
- Having the honour of watching girlfriends make the transition to motherhood. At the risk of sounding old as fuck, it takes me back to my own memories of being pregnant with Amelia and being excited and scared and hoping that my vagina will recover from squeezing out a watermelon!
- Abi's baby breath. Honestly, nothing smeller sweeter than breast milk breath. When no one's looking, I make her breath on me so I can smell it. Sorry Abi, if you ever read this. Your Mum's a creep!
- Daylight savings. The change has stuffed my sleeping pattern and evening routine royally but I am loving that it stays lighter, longer. So convenient for drying clothes when I don't have my shit together & only hang it out at 2pm. Oops.
- Discovering cider. Sersly. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE? That Strawberry Lime flavour? Yep, all over it.
