Seriously 2DayFM, you fucking suck.

I was in primary school, I used to listen to 2DayFM every night. The Hot 30 countdown with Ugly Phil and Jackie O was the coolest of the cool. You'd sit there with your tape recorder, and hang out for your favourite songs to come on so you could record it for your way awesome mix tape. Yes, sometimes your tape would boast snippets of ad and chatter but whatevs. It was a 90's thing.

Now that I'm older and actually understand the chatter of the radio hosts, I no longer listen to 2Day FM.

The shit their hosts come out with is just stupidity half the time and the station is happy to exploit it across the airways, pandering the stupidity of the people. Not all teh people, but well, you know.

You don't even have to listen to them to know that. I mean, the home of Vile Kyle (Sandilands) says it all, doesn't it?

That 'prank' the other day was just stupidity.

You just have to look at my pinterest boards to know I love me a bit of immaturity. But prank phone calls? A girlfriend and I used to do them in primary school. Yep, in like Year 4. That, my friends, is the required level of maturity involved in prank phone calls. About as mature as Ashton 'I wish he'd punk'ed himself quietly in a corner' Kutcher.

My stomach dropped when I heard that the nurse involved in the stupid 'prank' involving Kate Middleton has died in a suspected suicide. 

I don't think the two radio hosts involved could have possibly anticipated the fall out from what they thought was a bit of fun. But the fact that 2DayFM had the recording given the ok by lawyers before it going to air speaks volumes - They knew this was pushing the goddamn limits, and time and time again, they find themselves having to defend themselves in the fall out of their stupidity.

Now, it appears that another human being has died as a result.

When is enough enough?

If you can't entertain and make folks laugh without having to resort to 'pranks' and other motherfucking stupid forms of entertainment then GTFO my airwaves, you don't belong in radio.

And I sincerely hope that the two radio hosts involved are being supported by loved ones as they now weather a worldwide media storm.
